Eight men, one belt, one night
Byon Combat calls the Grand Prix the biggest night in its history.
Byon is running two eight-man tournaments on 12 December 2026, one at 61 kg and one at 67 kg. Indonesia Arena is the biggest stage Byon has ever used.
Each tournament ends the same night. If the bracket runs as a standard knockout, the champion wins three fights in one night. It is the Byon World Kickstriking Title Belt, the first world title Byon has ever offered.
Places were won with golden tickets on Byon's Showbiz and Madness cards through 2026. Aaron won his in Jakarta on 29 August. That night, Byon's president, Yoshua Marcellos, gave his verdict in Indonesian. In English: “With a performance like that, Aaron Clarke from Ireland, welcome to the Byon World Grand Prix!”
Byon shows stream live on Vidio pay-per-view, and venue tickets are sold on Byontix. Byon also posts free fights on YouTube later. His fight with Azwan Che Wil went up free in August, four months after the night.

Aaron Clarke at Byon Combat: two fights, two stoppages
Before his debut, one Indonesian fan page asked if he would be a threat at 61 kg or just make up the numbers.
Showbiz 7, 25 April 2026, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. This was his Byon debut, on Byon's first Showbiz card outside Indonesia. Byon billed his opponent, Azwan Che Wil, as a Malaysian legend with 30 pro wins. Byon's president said at least 3,000 tickets sold in a short time.
Aaron dropped Azwan several times, then finished it with a sharp elbow. It was the first TKO of the night. Byon gave him MVP Gold and called it a perfect debut. After the fight he called out Brian Lawitan and said he would face anyone at 61 kg.
Byon's TikTok then named him “the new villain of the 61 kg class”.
Showbiz 8, 29 August 2026, Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. The next Malaysian was Umar Al-Matin, listed by Byon as Umarusman. Umar had called Aaron out first. Byon's build-up asked if Aaron could answer Umar's elbows. They faced off at the weigh-in the day before.
Aaron put him down twice with strikes to the body, and the fight was stopped in round 3. Byon named him MVP Gold for the second fight running. That came with a 50 million rupiah bonus and a golden ticket to the Grand Prix.
On 30 August he posted: “Told you the notebook doesn't lie.” On 1 September he added: “Grand Prix King coming”.
What is Byon Combat? It is an Indonesian promotion, founded in 2023 by Yoshua Marcellos, the YouTuber known as Cellos. Its shows stream on Vidio pay-per-view. Showbiz 5 set a pay-per-view record for fight events in Asia in 2025, with 536,000 buys.
What is kickstriking? It is Byon's stand-up rule set, run by the Uni Combat Council. Punches, kicks, knees and elbows are all allowed. Clinches last three seconds at most, sweeps are banned and draws are not allowed. For a fighter known for his elbows, it fits.
